Fleurs des Prés Red/Blue
Our newest print arrival, Fleurs des Prés, is evocative of the meadow flowers abundant in the south of France. Plucked from our archives, this new engraving of one of D. Porthault's historic designs is colorful, bright and playful and one can imagine a festival of blooms dancing in the breezes off the Mediterranean and under the sunny skies of Cap Ferrat. First printed in the late 1940s with carved wooden blocks, our new hand-engraving captures the same colors and movement of the original. Now in bed and table linens ~ and soon to be captured in terry toweling as well ~ we hope you enjoy our latest fly-away uninhibited bouquet!
